To make this I tied string around a bottle, soaked the string in lighter fluid, lit it on fire, and, after letting it burn for half a minute, plunged the bottle into ice water, which would crack the glass along a decently even line.

ReplyDeleteI have a glass cutter, by the way, if any of your other projects involve cutting glass. I bought it from a hardware store for about five bucks, and I've cut glass bottles like this by scoring them and then smashing them against a cinder block in a garbage bin.
